• Extends traumatic injury coverage to service members injured between Oct. 7, 2001 and November 30, 2005, regardless of where their injury occurred
  
  
• Allows Veterans’ Group Life Insurance policyholders to purchase additional coverage on each 5-year anniversary of their coverage
  
  
• Increases VMLI coverage from $150,000 to $200,000 effective Oct. 1, 2011
