Teaching Services Contract
This contract is made on ………… at the Language Institute of Lopburi between the Language Institute of Lopburi, Enjoy Learning School, represented by Mr. Weerasak Namprasert, General Manager, hereinafter referred to as “The Institute” on the one part and ………. nationality ………….. age ….. years, having domicile at ………………. hereinafter referred to as “Teacher” on the other part.
The parties agree as follows:
I. TERM OF CONTRACT
This contract will be valid for a period of 12 months beginning ………… and ending ……………….
II. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE TEACHER TO THE INSTITUTE
1. The teacher will be responsible for conducting professional English language classes as a professional teacher and will dress and conduct in an appropriate professional manner.
2. The teacher will be available to work 20 – 21 hours/week from Monday through Friday at the 1 – 3 difference schools or private classes. The Institute will determine actual scheduled working hours and the schools. The teacher will not be required to work on weekends or scheduled Public Holidays.
3. The teacher may be asked to do the substitution classes in the case there are some activities at the school only if the school able to set the schedule.

4. During the course of the year, the teacher may be asked to attend unpaid school English activities such as English day-trips, Christmas celebration.
III. PAYMENT FOR SERVICES RENDERED BY THE TEACHER
1. The total payment shall be 400,000.00 (four hundred thousand Baht). The payment will be paid 12 times at the end of each month or the beginning, but not later than the third, of the following month started from …………….... The first eleven payments will be paid for 33,500.00 Baht each time. The twelfth payment will be paid for 31,500.00 Baht.
2. When the teacher completes the first ten months of the contract, the teacher will get the last two month off with pay. If otherwise, the last two months payment would not be given.
3. If, for any reason, the teacher absent from the schedule on the school day, the teacher will be deducted for 2,500 Baht/day on the next payment. If the teacher is able to find a substitute native English teacher, 2,500.00 will not be deducted.
4. Income tax shall be withheld from the salary in accordance with Thai Tax Law.
IV. WORK PERMIT, VISA AND INSURANCE PROVIDED BY THE INSTITUTE
1. Work permit and teachers’ visa will be provided to the teacher on the Institute’s cost, except for initial Non Immigrant O or B.

2. The Institute will provide a life, accidental and medical insurance according to the group insurance of the Institute with American International Assurance Co., Ltd.
V. THE TERMINATION OF CONTRACT
1. This contract shall be terminated on either party serving a notice to the other party at least one month in advance but not during the courses, May 16th to Sep 30th and Nov 1st to Mar 10th.
2. The Institute retains the right to terminate the contract if, for any reason during the period of the contract, the teacher is unable to discharge the responsibilities or meet the conditions as described in the above agreement.
3. The Institute retains the right to terminate the contract if the quality of his work is unsatisfactory by the Institute at any time during the period of the contract.
4. The Institute retains the right to terminate the contract if detrimental to the overall positive atmosphere of the workplace.
5. Use of illegal drugs, alcohol intoxication during work hours, criminal activity or corruption of public morals will result in the immediate termination of the contract. No notice will be given.
6. In case of termination for any reason, the teacher is required to sign a notice of termination to notify the Lopburi Education Service Area Office 1 and Lopburi Employment office of the termination.

VI. GOOD FAITH
The Institute and the teacher will act in good faith toward each other. The Institute will not terminate the contract without what reasonably is considered good cause and the teacher will do their utmost to satisfactorily fulfill all the responsibilities and meet all the conditions as described in the above agreement.
VII. FULL KNOWLEDGE
1. This agreement is subject to Thai laws and any dispute arising from this agreement shall be submitted for adjudication at the Lopburi Court.
2. This agreement is made in duplicate and both parties have read and fully understand the contents therein, and accordingly sing their names as evidence hereof.
